Get Golfing, the UK’s largest golf charity, is thrilled to announce a partnership with global alternative investment firm Strategic Value Partners for our inaugural Celebrity Pro-Am on Thursday, August 29th. This exciting event is a highlight of the Festival of Golf Week, scheduled from August 26th to September 1st. Get Golfing, known for its operation of 13 golf clubs nationwide, is committed to leveraging the power of golf to make significant charitable impacts.
The Festival of Golf Week is more than a celebration of the sport; it’s a platform to support crucial causes, namely Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and Music 24. These charities provide invaluable support to children & families, and through this event, we aim to amplify their efforts and reach.
The Festival of Golf will include a series of engaging activities, culminating in the largest female professional golf event in England for 2024, The Women’s Golf Championship, in association with the Ladies European Tour Access Series.
The collaboration with Strategic Value Partners signifies a shared vision of using sport as a conduit for positive societal change. Together, we are set to create an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators alike, while driving substantial support for the beneficiary charities.
We look forward to working with Strategic Value Partners and hosting their guests for the Celebrity Pro-Am.

About LETAS
The LET Access Series (LETAS) is the official development tour to the Ladies European Tour and the competitive international circuit is a key part of the organisation’s development pathway.
Launched in 2010, the vision of the LET Access Series is to provide greater competitive opportunities for women golf professionals who are unable to participate in regular LET events. LETAS will additionally help to raise awareness of women’s professional golf generally and bring additional opportunities to countries developing their women’s golf programmes.
The top seven players on the 2024 LETAS Order of Merit earn membership of the Ladies European Tour for the 2025 season, while players in eighth to 32nd position, not otherwise exempt, progress to the final stage of LET Qualifying School, thereby skipping the first qualifying event.
All female professional golfers and amateurs aged 18 years of age with a handicap of 2 or better are eligible for membership of LETAS, therefore giving elite amateurs the opportunity to play at the top level against professionals on a week-by-week basis.
