Did you know that nearly one in five children in England aged five to eight lack access to books at home? This statistic, highlighted by a survey conducted by the National Literacy Trust (NLT), underscores the importance of addressing literacy disparities, particularly among disadvantaged children.
We are committed to making a positive impact.
As part of our Fun, Food, and Golf campaign, we extend a warm invitation to children receiving free school meals to join us at the golf club for complimentary golf sessions, complete with a nourishing meal. In addition to these activities, we aim to cultivate a love for reading by establishing a designated book corner where children can immerse themselves in captivating stories. Our ultimate goal is to ensure each child leaves with a book of their own, igniting a passion for reading and fostering a love for lifelong learning—an essential component of every child’s educational journey.
